bikeBounce.com is officially open to the masses! We finished the site around 4pm and started our first Google Ad Campaign immediately thereafter. There's still a bit to do (get the athletes and events pages going) and some code to clean up, but at least it's working. So check it out and let me know what you think!Training-wise it was just an easy hour on the trainer this evening.

Noon: 4x1 mile on the track with 400m recovery (6:04, 6:06, 5:59, 6:16). 8 miles total.
Evening: DU Master’s swim; 3000yds
I am so far removed now from track workouts that it’s almost hard imagining how I could have enjoyed them so much for so many years. Granted, it’s a little different when that’s all you’re doing and your full of speed. Now, my endurance is stronger than ever, but the days of cruising through sub-30 200s are no longer – not to say they couldn’t come back. Running workouts on the track now, training for triathlons and at altitude is not nearly as quantifiable as it was back in Boston. I really don’t know what today’s workout means. I have nothing to compare it to, and that’s actually a really good feeling. I’m not weighed down by knowing I did that workout 6 months ago 5 seconds/mile quicker, nor given a false sense of confidence knowing that I did that workout 5 seconds/mile slower right before I ran my 5k PR. I am creating a whole new set of benchmarks for myself and totally losing sight of what’s behind me…exactly what I want to do.I think the workout was pretty good. I had figured I would be close to 6:00 for each, so I guess it’s a little slower than I had hoped for, but the effort was good. I’ll take it.
